Synyster Gates started playing in Avenged Sevenfold at the age of eighteen. He and some members of the band also had a side group called Pinkly Smooth which they abandoned to focus on the main band. The rock lifestyle was the inspiration behind the clothing line.
Available from 2007 to 2009, Synyster Gates clothing consisted of a limited collection of tees, hoodies and accessories. All of the shirts in the collection were done in black and featured images of skeletons, reapers and women in bondage. There was also a very small collection of women's tees which are decorated with skull and cross charms.
